Major Gonzalez is currently the, Executive Officer (XO) at Lehigh University ROTC in Bethlehem PA. In this capacity he oversees all administrative actions in support of both Cadre and Cadets. Aligns resources to support Professional Military Education (PME), weekly tactics training and field training exercises.   

Major Gonzalez other position include, 76th Operational Response Command G357 XO, Aide de Camp to Commanding General, Deputy G37 Individual and Collective Training Manager,  G38 Operational Resource Manager, G33 Chief Mobilization Officer, and dual-hatted as Task Force 76 Battle Major for ARNORTH for the C2CRE-A homeland response mission. 342nd Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear Company (CBRN) Commander Urbana, IL. He also deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in the 371st CBRN Company as the Operations / Executive Officer. There he established a CBRN-E element in Az-Zarqa, Jordan for USCENTCOM Forward-Jordan (CFJ). 

Prior to joining the Active Guard Reserve (AGR) program his prior civilian position include Project Manager and Manufacturing Supervisor, both for pharmaceutical manufacturing. 

Major Gonzalez joined the Army in 2005 and commissioned in 2007 at New Mexico Military Institute. In 2009 he received his bachelor’s degree from New Mexico State University in philosophy. He is currently obtaining his Masters at Lehigh University. 

 

Military Education

His military education and training includes the

  • CBRN Basic Officer Leader Course,

  • Captains Career Course (Honor Graduate),

  • Fiscal Law,

  • Defense Support to Civil Authorities (DSCA) Course, and

  • Command and General Staff College at Fort Lee, VA.

  • Army Commendation Medical with oak leaf cluster and

  • Meritorious Unit Commendation with oak leaf cluster.
