Purpose.

Welcome to our Steel Battalion Cadet Portal. This knowledge management tool was created just for you. As future Army leaders, it is of high importance to ensure every Cadet has a solid grasp and understanding of leadership within the military context. The way we teach leadership in ROTC is through tactical training of military operations at the Squad and Platoon levels. In this endeavor, our hope is that this Cadet Portal aids in teaching you the basics of tactical concepts so that you can apply them in your military science labs, improve and grow upon your natural talents and discover who you are as a leader. To be clear, the endstate is not to become a tactical genius, but rather a humble leader worthy of the title: United States Army Officer.
