Sergeant First Class Domenic C. Buscemi Enlisted as an Infantryman from the Los Angeles, California MEPS on September 11, 2003.   He has served in a variety of Infantry units such as the prestigious 82nd Airborne Division, 4th Infantry Division, 1st Armored Division, and as a Senior Drill Sergeant at the Fort Jackson Army Training Center for Basic Combat Training. He currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Military Science / Military Science Instructor at Lehigh University SROTC. 

He has served in all levels of Infantry Leadership from Rifleman to Rifle Company First Sergeant (the Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Company Commander).  His last duty position was Fort Bliss, Texas where he served as an Infantry Company First Sergeant in 1-77 Armor Regiment and 4-6 Infantry Regiment. 

His Professional education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from American Military University and a Certificate in Farrier Science with a Blacksmith Journeyman Card.

He participates in a number of extracurricular activities as a Lifetime Member of The National Infantry Association and has been awarded the Order of St. Maurice Centurion Medallion.  And the Armored Calvary Association and has been Knighted as a Noble Patron of Armor.  

SFC Buscemi is very involved with his children’s school district as the elected VP School board and recently elected to serve as Minority Elections Inspector of his county.
